L'amore è femmina (German Love is feminine ) is a song by the Italian singer Nina Zilli .

It was produced by Michele Canova and written by Zilli himself with the help of the American Charlie Mason and the Swedish songwriters Christian Rabb, Kristoffer Sjökvist and Frida Molander.

The song was selected by the Italian broadcaster RAI to represent Italy at the 57th Eurovision Song Contest in Baku in 2012 , where it came ninth with 101 points. In the final of the contest on May 26, 2012, the song was sung in English and Italian under the name "L'amore è femmina (Out of Love)" .
