LAC Halensee Berlin

The LAC Halensee Berlin was a successful athletics club in Berlin .

The association was founded in 1988 with the special aim of promoting top athletes. He supported up to 15 athletes annually, but ran into financial difficulties in 1998 due to a lack of sponsorship funds. As early as 1996, the public prosecutor's office was investigating the association on suspicion of economic offenses. At the end of 2000 he ended his commitment to top-class sport.

Numerous Olympic participants belonged to the club, such as Dietmar Koszewski , Carsten Köhrbrück , Andreas Erm , Kofi Amoah Prah , Nico Motchebon , Ronald Weigel , Beate Gummelt and Peggy Beer .
