Dietmar Koszewski

Dietmar Koszewski (born July 26, 1967 in Berlin ) is a former German athlete and Olympian who was a successful hurdler on the 60-meter and 110-meter route in the 1990s . At the European Championships in 1990 he won the bronze medal (13.50 s). At the World Championships in 1991 he was eliminated in the preliminary stages, at the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 he was eliminated in the semifinals. At the World Athletics Championships in 1993 he was seventh in the world record race by Colin Jackson ; in the same year he won the Universiade in Buffalo (USA) over the 110 meter hurdles. In 1989 and 1993 he won the German championship title over the 110 meter hurdles and at the same time in the indoor championships over the 60 meter hurdles. In his youth he was a successful all-rounder and won the youth championships in pentathlon , decathlon and triple jump .

Dietmar Koszewski belonged to the LAC Halensee Berlin association. In his competition time he was 1.93 m tall and 89 kg.
