Kofi Amoah Prah

Kofi Amoah Prah (born December 20, 1974 in Accra , Ghana ) is a German former long jumper .

Prah started for the Berliner Sport-Club , LAC Halensee Berlin and most recently for LG Nike Berlin . In 2000 he became German long jump champion. In June 2000 in Wesel , Prah set his personal best of 8.20 m.

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Genoa in 1992 , he won the silver medal. At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney he was fifth.

On August 31, 2008, Prah ended his active career after a competition in Elstal . Delays in the proceedings for which he was responsible meant that it was only announced in September 2008 that he had been doped on July 5, 2008 at the German Championships in Nuremberg . The testers discovered the prohibited stimulants cocaine and methylecgonine at Prah . On September 22, 2008 he was banned from the disciplinary committee of the German Athletics Association for two years.
