The locomotives with the track numbers 42 and 43 of Localbahn AG (LAG) were wet steam locomotives .

The vehicles were manufactured by Krauss based on the model of the Bavarian D VII , but, unlike this one, had a compound engine because the LAG had good experiences with it.

The two copies were mainly used on the route between Marktoberdorf and Füssen . The Reichsbahn took over both vehicles in 1938 and assigned them to the 98.71 series . In 1941 the locomotives were sold to the Augsburg Local Railway , where they were in use until 1956 with the number 7 and 8 and were scrapped in 1957.
