LMC are the British DJ trio Lee Monteverde, Matt Cadman and Cris Nuttall from Blackburn . The abbreviation LMC is made up of the three first names. Monteverde has been a DJ and producer since the 1980s, while Cadman and Nuttall founded the All Around the World (AATW) label in 1991 .

background

In the club scene they made a name for themselves as LMC with remixes for Lasgo , Erasure and Kelly Llorenna . In 2003 they recorded the mashup song Take Me to the Clouds Above . In it they let the singer Rachel McFarlane sing a few lines from How Will I Know by Whitney Houston on the melody of U2s With or Without You . With this song, LMC had a number one hit in the British charts in February 2004 , which subsequently made it into the top 20 across Europe. They tried to build on their success with a version of You Get What You Give by the New Radicals , but Take Me to the Clouds Above remained their only big hit.
