In addition to the success on the Billboard Hot 100 , after the song Dionne & Friends pushed that ’s What Friends Are For from the top, it also reached number one in the US R&B and AC charts.
The song is about a girl who has fallen in love with a boy and doesn't know whether he will return her feelings.
