My Love Is Your Love is the fourth studio album by Whitney Houston . It was released in November 1998 and was their first studio album in eight years. In the US , where the album made it to number 13, sales were lower than the previous albums; The album was still a success internationally. In Germany the album sold over 670,000 times.

history

The album was produced by various producers and production teams such as Rodney Jerkins , Soulshock & Karlin , Wyclef Jean , David Foster and Babyface . Originally planned as a greatest hits compilation , it was recorded in just six weeks. Stylistically, it covered a range of mid-tempo R&B , hip-hop , dance and reggae influences, which made it a little more diverse than the previous releases. The album was particularly successful in Europe, where it reached number one on the charts in Austria and Switzerland . In Germany it took second place. To promote the album, Houston also sang on Wetten, dass ..? On February 20, 1999 . It's Not Right but It's Okay . On June 21, 1999, she appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show .
