The Air Force Sports Club Olomouc ( LSV Olmütz for short ) was a German military sports club in the city of Olomouc in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia , today in the Czech Republic .
history
The LSV Olomouc was founded in 1940.
The Luftwaffensportverein achieved its greatest success in the 1941/42 season, when it was initially able to win the eastern relay of the three-track Gauliga Sudetenland . In the final round of Sudetenland against the two other season winners, the LSV was able to prevail and thus qualified for the final round of the German championship . There they met the champions of the Gauliga Donau-Alpenland First Vienna FC 1894 in front of 10,000 spectators in the local Ander Stadium , but had to admit defeat 0: 1.
In the following season, Olomouc was second again in the East Season, but then did not appear again.
Due to the approaching war events , the LSV Olomouc was dissolved in September 1944.
