LTTV Leutzscher Füchse 1990
The LTTV Leutzscher Füchse 1990 is a table tennis club from Leipzig . The women's team played in the 1st Bundesliga from 2012 to 2017 . In 2014, 17 men's, four women's and three youth teams took part in the game. The three youth teams played in the Leipzig City League. In addition, disabled sports are actively practiced.

Career
In July 1990 the LTTV Leutzscher Füchse association was founded as the successor to the table tennis department of BSG Chemie Leipzig , which had been in existence since 1953 . Initially, only men's teams took part in the game. At the instigation of today's President Christian Klas, a women's team was also registered for gaming in 1997.
After several promotions - starting in the regional league - the team reached the regional league in 2007 and the second division in 2010. In the 2010/11 season, Paula Medina (Colombia) was the first South American woman in the Bundesliga to qualify for the Summer Olympics in London . At the end of the 2011/12 season, the team finished fourth, but was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga , benefiting from several withdrawals and reluctance to promote promotion by other clubs . The promotion team included the regular players Alexandra Urban , Sonja Busemann, Linda Renner, Anna-Marie Helbig and Huong Do Thi. In the following season they strengthened themselves with the national player Kathrin Mühlbach and on average formed the youngest team in the league. The three Leipzig-born women Renner, Helbig and Do Thi come from their own offspring.
The league could not be held, however. In 2017, the team again finished last and this time relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga. In previous years, they stayed in the 1st BL, although it was only enough to bottom of the table because other clubs withdrew teams.
