The Sint-Lukas Brussels campus is a Dutch-speaking university campus in the Belgian capital, Brussels . The university campus houses around 1000 students and the buildings are located in the Paleizenstraat in Schaarbeek . The university campus has been named LUCA Campus Sint-Lukas Brussel since September 2012

history

The formerly independent college was founded around 1880 and was the only Flemish art college in Brussels for almost 100 years. In 2008/2009 it became part of the Hogeschool voor Wetenschap & Kunst (W&K) due to the number of students falling short of the prescribed number and has since continued as the Sint-Lukas Brussel campus . W&K offers around 3800 students on six campus facilities in the cities of Brussels, Ghent and Leuven around 30 art and architecture courses . In September 2012 the W&K was renamed the LUCA School of Arts .
