Riesalb
The most easterly, only hilly foothills of the Swabian Alb , about halfway between Nuremberg and Ulm , is called the Riesalb .

In the natural division of Germany, it is the main unit No. 098 in the south-west German stepland . It is broken down as follows:

Their altitude is approx. 450 to 650 m above sea level . The area is located (clockwise) directly south of the Nördlinger Ries between the lower reaches of the Wörnitz , the Danube valley near Bissingen and the course of the Egau up to Dischingen . It was overprinted by the ejecta ( colorful debris ) during the giant event .
