The LaBelle Valley is a 1.5 km long valley in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Cruzen Range , it is between Peterson Terrace and Price Terrace . To the south it opens to the Barwick Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2005 after the American astrophysicist Frank T. Berkey of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Dartmouth College , who was the senior observer for the United States Antarctic Program from 1991 to 2004 for the study of the lower, middle ones and high-frequency aurora waves at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station and other observation stations.
