La Aguada y Costa Azul is a city in southeast Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the area of the Rocha Department in its sector 10 southeast of the department capital Rocha on the Atlantic coast. La Paloma borders the coastal section in the south, and the Laguna de Rocha extends a few kilometers to the west . The closest coastal town to the north is Arachania .
history
On December 21, 1995, La Aguada y Costa Azul was classified in the " Pueblo " category by Law No.12.253 .
