La Croix (German: Das Kreuz ) is a French Roman Catholic daily newspaper based in Montrouge in the Métropole du Grand Paris ; The editorial office is based in Paris .

The newspaper was in 1880 as a monthly journal of Emmanuel d'Alzon and Vincent de Paul Bailly from the Congregation of the Assumptionists founded. In 1883 it was changed to a daily edition.
