La Dernière Heure / Les Sports (also La DH for short ) is a Belgian tabloid with an editorial office in Brussels . It was founded in 1906, today's publisher is Groupe IPM . In 2009 the circulation was around 63,000 copies. Historically, the DH was anti - clerical ; today it is close to the Parti Réformateur Libéral . The design is similar to the English tabloids.

During the German occupation of Belgium in World War II , the newspaper was banned because of its alleged "liberal Masonic character". The offices and equipment had to be left to the occupation body Brussels newspaper , which was able to convince the majority of the old staff to stay, while the former management level had to leave the newspaper after a transition period.
