La Mongie

La Mongie is a place in the French Pyrenees . It belongs to the municipality of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and is about 400 meters below the top of the Col du Tourmalet pass .
La Mongie is primarily a winter sports resort located in the territory of the municipalities of Campan , Bagnères-de-Bigorre and Barèges , but is often planned as a destination for the Tour de France .
