The La Plata Point is a headland in the northwest of Seymour Island in the Antarctic Weddell Sea . At the head end of Bertodano Bay , it marks the southern boundary of Jorge Cove northeast of the Marambio station .
Polish scientists they named in 1999 in honor of the scientists of the Institute of Paleontology of vertebrates in La Plata Museum .
