La bella Napoli
La bella Napoli (German: Beautiful Naples ) is a large-format volume by the draftsman Christian Wilhelm Allers published in 1893 with texts by Dr. Alexander Olinda ( pseudonym of the philologist, writer and editor Reinhold Schmidt , 1838–1909) and Walther Trede with approx. 260 partly full-page drawings by CW Allers.

La bella Napoli was published in 1893 by Union Deutsche Verlagsgesellschaft in the format 28 × 39 cm with gilt edging and weighing 2.8 kg. The book has 214 pages and eleven plates.

The book is structured geographically and after the introduction contains 14 chapters with the following topics: Santa Lucia , Old Naples, Napoli moderna, Criss-Cross Naples, Camaldoli , Gulf of Baiae , Ischia , Vesuvius , Pompeii , Castellammare di Stabia , Sorrento , Capri , Amalfi and Paestum . The drawings are partly landscape sketches, partly depictions of everyday life or portraits (not necessarily of prominent people).
