Laborde is a place in the southeast of the Argentine province of Córdoba and belongs to the Department of Unión . There is also talk of Pedanía Ascasubi and the capital of the Argentine folk dance Malambo . According to the statistical data of 2010, 5,943 inhabitants lived in the village, the number of inhabitants increased by 8.99% from 1991 to 2001.

In the second week of January each year a festival takes place in Laborde, at which Malambo dance groups from the Argentine provinces introduce themselves for six consecutive nights.

In the municipality of Laborde there are the three primary schools Dardo Rocha , Mariano Moreno , Pbro Juan Girula and the three secondary schools Pbro Juan Girula (together with the primary and secondary school), Eva Gentil Faust de Pinto (private school) and the state IPEA Nº4 H Galassi (formerly IPEM Nº4 ).
