The Lac Assinica is a lake in the regional county municipality Jamesie the administrative region Nord-du-Québec of the Canadian province of Quebec .

The lake is 75 km west of Lac Mistassini . It feeds the Rivière Assinica , a tributary of the Rivière Broadback . The Lac Assinica is surrounded by numerous wetlands. It has a water surface of 93 km². The 8,885 km² nature reserve Réserve faunique Assinica surrounds the lake.
