Jamésie
Jamésie is in Québec , Canada, the area of the administrative region of North du Québec south of the 55th parallel , which is largely covered by boreal coniferous forest.
The region consists of the municipality of Baie-James , which covers almost the entire area, and four enclaves that have the status of independent municipalities ( Chibougamau , Chapais , Lebel-sur-Quévillon and Matagami ). The main town is Chibougamau.
