Laughter (Unterjesingen)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lachen is a desert in the Unterjesingen district in the Tübingen district .

location

The exact location is not yet known. Laughter was probably on the edge of Schönbuch . The Landesdenkmalamt suspects that the hamlet may have been located at the "exit of the Rosecker Tälchen 200 m west of the local church" of Unterjesingen, that is, on the Enzbach. The lost hamlet is possibly identical to the place to which the stream name Weilersbach goes back.

history

Lachen was the eponymous seat of the nobles von Ihlingen and von Lachen in the 13th century. The Lords of Lachen later emigrated.

Up to the critical date of 1342, when the goods of the Count Palatine of Tübingen were mainly sold to Württemberg or donated to the Bebenhausen Monastery , several places in the area of Tübingen had been abandoned and sold, for example Hindebach and Wennfeld . This led to a decrease in the income of the Count Palatine and their ministerials as well as to an increase in population in Tübingen triggered by the rural exodus.
