Location of Ihlingen in Horb am Neckar

Ihlingen is a district of the town of Horb am Neckar in Baden-Württemberg with approx. 450 inhabitants approx. 40 km southwest of Stuttgart in the Neckar valley . It is located around 3.5 km southwest of Horb am Neckar, at the confluence of the Rexinger valley in the Neckar valley. In 1971 Ihlingen was incorporated. The district has an area of ​​1.41 km² .

The rule of Ihlingen was sold to the Catholic Hospital Horb in 1480. The sovereign rights were later transferred to Austria via Hohenberg and to Württemberg in 1805.

On July 1, 1971, Ihlingen was incorporated into the city of Horb am Neckar.
