With about 2,400 inhabitants, Nordstetten is the second largest district of Horb am Neckar . Nordstetten is located to the southeast, two kilometers from Horb, on federal highway 32 . Nordstetten is the only district of Horb to have two separate districts: Buchhof and Taberwasen.

Former castle, now town hall and Berthold Auerbach Museum

On September 1, 1971, Nordstetten was incorporated into the city of Horb am Neckar.

The Berthold Auerbach Museum and the Berthold Auerbach Elementary School commemorate the writer Berthold Auerbach (1812–1882), who was born here and who set a monument to Nordstetten with the Black Forest village stories .
