Lachen Künga Gyeltshen ( T. bla chen kun dga 'rgyal mtshan ; * 1432 ; † 1506 ) was a scholar of the Kadam tradition ( bKa' gdams pa ) of Tibetan Buddhism . Its seat was the Tsethang monastery .

bka 'gdams chos' byung gsal ba'i sgron me

He is the author of a well-known story of the Kadampa school ( bka 'gdams chos' byung gsal ba'i sgron me ) from 1494. The work

"Contains a general presentation of the school, the individual traditions and a final presentation of the dGe-lugs-pa school, which is presented as the" New bKa'-gdams [-pa school] "(bka 'gdams gsar ma)."
