The Lacs de Fenêtre are three small mountain lakes (2456 m, 2495 m, 2512 m) at the end of the Val Ferret in the Valais Alps on a plateau between the Great St. Bernhard and the Montblanc massif . In midsummer they are a popular destination for mountain hikes and also serve as bathing lakes (average water temperature 10 ° Celsius). The only nearby place is the hamlet of Ferret (1700 m), which is only inhabited in summer. The lakes lie on a mossy plateau that is densely overgrown with cotton grass. The lakes are fed by several small streams.
