The Lacus Odii - Latin for lake of hatred - is a frozen lava lake on the earth's moon , which is similar to the larger Maria in terms of its origin . It has a diameter of 70 km and is located at the selenographic coordinates 19 ° North and 7 ° East. The name was approved by the International Astronomical Union at its 16th General Assembly in 1976 .
