Laetitia Masson (born June 18, 1966 ) is a French director , actress and screenwriter .

Life

She first studied literature and was then accepted by the Fémis film school in Paris . She took her first steps as a writer and actress, often with Cédric Kahn . Her first feature film to have (or not) earned her sponsored Sandrine Kiberlain a César and herself a nomination. The second film in the trilogy, For Sale , earned its leading actress a César nomination, while the third film, Love me , was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 2002 Berlinale . Her film Pourquoi (pas) le Brésil was based on the novel of the same name by her friend Christine Angot and was nominated for the Golden Leopard in Locarno in 2004.
