Lago di Muzzano is a lake in the canton of Ticino , in Switzerland . It is located between the municipalities of Sorengo , Muzzano TI and Collina d'Oro . Its area is 0.23 km².
The small Lago di Muzzano lies partly in the municipality. It is a total of 780 m long and 337 m wide. At a maximum depth of 3.35 m, it contains around 600,000 cubic meters of water. The Lago di Muzzano was formed in the Ice Age by the meeting of the Adda and Ticino glaciers. It is under nature protection along with its reed belts and belongs to the Swiss nature conservation organization Pro Natura .
