Laiyuan

Laiyuan ( Chinese  涞源县 , Pinyin Láiyuán Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Baoding in the Chinese province of Hebei . It has an area of ​​2,430 km² and in 1999 had 261,146 inhabitants.

The Geyuan Temple (Geyuan si 阁 院 寺), the Wulonggou section of the Great Wall (Wulonggou changcheng 乌龙 沟 长城) from the time of the Ming Dynasty and the Xingwen Pagoda (Xingwen ta 兴 文 塔) have been standing since 1996 resp. 2006 on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China .
