The Greim is a striking mountain with a height of 2474 m above sea level. A. in the southern Wölzer Tauern . It is located in the municipality of St. Peter am Kammersberg in Styria .
Between the Feistritzgraben in the west and the Eselbergbach in the east, the Greim forms the cornerstone of the ridge , which runs over the Rettelkirchspitze ( 2475 m ) and Hochstubofen ( 2385 m ) to the northwest to the Sölk Pass . After the Rettelkirchspitze , the Greim is the second highest mountain in the Wölzer Tauern.
The Greim is not difficult to climb, for example from the north from the rear Eselberg valley from the uncultivated Neunkirchner Hütte ( 1535 m ), or from the villages in the south via Pöllau am Greim and the Greimhütte ( 1680 m ) over meadows to the summit. The Greim is known as a rewarding ski tour destination , the standard run leads through the wide southern cirque of the Greimrinne.
The Greimhütte can be reached via a driveway, the hut has not been managed since September 2016.
