The Lake Aberdeen is a small reservoir in Grays Harbor County , the State of Washington . It is located east of the center of Aberdeen in the middle of a small exclave of the city.
An earth dam dams Van Winkle Creek and other small streams, but much of the water is tunneled from the Wynoochee River . In addition to supplying industrial plants with water, rainbow trout - Washington's state fish - are also farmed in Lake Aberdeen .
