The Lake Farrell is a small lake on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . In the Vestfold Mountains, it is located on the Breidnes Peninsula 0.8 km southeast of the eastern end of Ekho Lake .
The lake is an important landmark on the way from Davis Station to Platcha Weather Station, 31 km to the west . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Leo M. Farrell, who worked as a weather observer at Davis Station in the Antarctic winter of 1970.
