The Lamborghini Pregunta (also known as Heuliez Pregunta ) was a Lamborghini- based concept car presented at the 1999 Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris , developed by the French bodybuilder and system supplier Heuliez .
Emergence
The Pregunta was based on the Lamborghini Diablo and was intended to show Heuliez's competence as a developer of entire vehicles and not just vehicle parts. Like the name of many Lamborghini models, the name Pregunta comes from Spanish and means something like question . The Pregunta had the powertrain , chassis and engine of the Lamborghini Diablo. Outwardly, however, it was a completely different car. The engineers at Heuliez took great inspiration from aviation when designing the two-seater roadster . The removable hardtop made of glass and the butterfly doors that open to the front were characteristic . The numerous air inlets and the slightly inflated rear reinforced this impression. The interior was designed in two parts: the left-hand side, i.e. the driver's side, had a more sporty design, while the passenger's side was comfortably furnished.
However, it never went into series production and so the vehicle remained a one-off.
Trivia
On April 11, 2013 it was announced that the only model ever built is for sale at a Parisian car dealer for € 1,352,240.
