Lance Hool

Lance Hool (born May 11, 1948 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican film producer , actor and director .

Life

Hool grew up in Mexico City, his birthplace. He studied at the Universidad de las Américas . He gained his first experience in the film business in the early 1970s as an actor and was involved in around a dozen films by the end of the decade. Had a bigger role in The Bullfighters - The Death Song of Steel Chains from 1974. From 1979 he turned to film production and stopped acting. Up to and including 2011 he was involved in various positions in 25 productions. His directorial debut was published in 1985 with Missing in Action 2 - The Return . Steel Dawn followed two years later . In 1999, Riley's last battle ( One Man's Hero ) was his third and so far last directorial work.

Missing in Action 2 was originally supposed to be released before Missing in Action and was staged before it. It was shot in Mexico and on the island of St. Kitts . Hool was also responsible for the production processes and the cast and revised the actual script. He had previously worked with Cannon Films on A Man Like Dynamite .

As a producer he worked a. a. several times with the director J. Lee Thompson .

With the Santa Fe Film and Media Studios, Hool and other family members, u. a. his brother Conrad Hool, his own production studio. He has been married since 1971 and has two children.
