State Board

The state board is the elected board of a state association of a party or an association (for example NABU , DRK , AWO ). It is elected by the state assembly of members , the state party convention or the state association day.

It usually consists of the chairman , one or more deputies and the treasurer (also: financier, treasurer). In some cases there are also assessors. In the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party , most of the state boards each consist of two speakers (the chairperson, at least one of whom is female), the treasurer , at least two assessors and, in some cases, the political manager (also: general secretary ).
