Regional court of Bregenz

The Regional Court of Bregenz was a Bavarian regional court of the older order that existed from 1805 to 1814 and was based in Bregenz in what is now the Austrian state of Vorarlberg . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

Since Bregenz became part of the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1805, the Regional Court of Bregenz was established through an administrative reorganization of Bavaria . This came to the newly founded Illerkreis with the capital Kempten .
