from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ravensburg Regional Court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1803 to 1810 and was based in Ravensburg (today in the Ravensburg district in Baden-Württemberg ). In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

history

Since the former imperial city of Ravensburg became part of the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1803 , the regional court of Ravensburg was established through an administrative reorganization of Bavaria . This came to the newly founded Illerkreis with the capital Kempten .

After Ravensburg became part of the Kingdom of Württemberg through the Paris Treaty in 1810 , the territory of the Ravensburg Regional Court was incorporated into the Ravensburg Oberamt .
