Landis Stevens Arnold (born August 6, 1960 in Boulder , Colorado ) is a retired American ski jumper .

Arnold jumped his first ski jumping World Cup on February 13, 1981 . He finished 14th in ski flying in Ironwood , winning his first World Cup points. Through this he finished 78th place in the overall World Cup ranking at the end of the season. Then Arnold took an international break from competition for two years and only started again in the World Cup in the 1983/84 season . Already in the first competitions of the season he was able to win World Cup points in his adopted home Lake Placid . At the end of the season he was 59th overall in the World Cup.

At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo , Arnold jumped to 28th place on the normal hill.

After the Winter Games, Arnold returned to the Four Hills Tournament in 1984/85 , but remained unsuccessful and ended his active ski jumping career after the tour.
