Landmaus und Stadtmaus auf Reisen is an animated series in German , French and Canadian production that was produced between 1996 and 1997 . The plot is based on the book by Christophe Izard and Thomas LaPierre.

action

Emily is a country mouse who lives in the country while her cousin grew up in the city. Therefore, they also differ in their attitude. Emily is more of the practical type, while Alexander is very cultivated. Both are friendly and intrepid travelers visiting their friends and relatives who are spread across the globe. They use different means of transport and keep finding new adventures.

Production and publication

The series was produced in German, French and Canadian and was produced between 1996 and 1997. This resulted in 2 seasons with 52 episodes. Directed by Marcos da Silva. On screenplay Christophe Izard, Thomas LaPierre and Bruce Robb involved. James Gelfand was responsible for the music .

The German first broadcast took place on February 6, 1998 on KiKA . Later broadcasts also took place on ZDF , Bibel TV , Junior , ORF one , SRF 1 , SRF two and Premiere Austria .
