Land rabbinate for the province of Birkenfeld
The land rabbinate for the province of Birkenfeld was established in the Principality of Birkenfeld as the supreme organization of the Jewish population in the exclave of the Grand Duchy on the left bank of the Rhine and later the Free State of Oldenburg in the Nahe area .
The state rabbi had his seat in Hoppstädten .
