Landscape Conservation Association

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A landscape conservation association (LEV) is an organization organized as a registered association (eV) for landscape maintenance and landscape conservation in Baden-Württemberg . The landscape conservation associations were founded between 1991 and 2017. In 2017, there were 33 associations across the board in Baden-Württemberg. Members are in each case the districts, municipalities belonging to the district as well as associations and associations dealing with nature conservation (e.g. BUND, Nabu, hunters 'associations, farmers' associations, etc.).

In the landscape conservation associations, the needs and interests of nature conservation , municipalities and agriculture are to be brought together. Accession was controversial in individual communities.

In other federal states there are comparable associations and clubs under the name of the Landschaftspflegeverband . The umbrella organization is the German Association for Landscape Management (DVL). The goal is a comprehensive network in all German cultural landscapes .
