The Filsumer Moor landscape protection area is a landscape protection area in the district of Leer in the north-west of the state of Lower Saxony . It bears the number LSG LER 00017. As the lower nature conservation authority, the district of Leer is responsible for the area.

Description of the area

The landscape protection area, designated on October 10, 1975, covers an area of ​​0.45 square kilometers and is located in the joint municipality of Jümme . It is a raised bog with moor birch forest , some rewetting areas and extensively used grassland.
