The landscape protection area coastal landscape Dänischer Wohld is a 34.6 square kilometer landscape protection area in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, northwest of Kiel . The area extends over the city of Eckernförde and the municipalities of Altenhof , Goosefeld , Holtsee , Neudorf-Bornstein , Osdorf , Noer , Schwedeneck , Strande and Dänischenhagen .

The coastal landscape was designated as a landscape protection area on November 22, 1999 . With its beaches, beach ridges, dunes, cliffs and lowlands, it is considered close to nature. The area is characterized by well-preserved areas of the Felmer , Kaltenhofer and Klausdorfer Moor , fen habitats, deciduous forests, hilly young moraine landscape and has a high biotope density and diverse landscape structure. In the opinion of the state government, it is therefore representative of the natural area and is of particular importance for species and biotope protection. In some areas, the area is used by tourism, agriculture, forestry and water management or the military. In a few places there are bank structures.
