The state constituency of Leverkusen II - Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis I was a state constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia . It comprised part of Leverkusen and the communities of Burscheid and Leichlingen in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis . From 1980 to 1995, the Leverkusen part corresponded to the area of ​​the former communities of Opladen and Bergisch Neukirchen , and in 2000 it was the differently delimited district II.

The constituency was formed as a new one for the 1980 state elections, but was dissolved again for the 2005 state elections. Leverkusen now forms a closed constituency , Burscheid and Leichlingen belong to Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis II .

The constituency was always won by a candidate from the SPD .
