Landwehr riding school

The Landwehr Riding School was part of the kk Franz Joseph Military Academy and was located in the 3rd district of Vienna at Barmherzigengasse 17.

The riding school building was built in 1895 and was used by the armed forces from 1918 and by the police from the mid-1920s . From 1938 the riding school was used by the SS . After the Second World War , the building was used privately as a riding school. There has been a residential building on the site since the late 1990s.
