Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards is a band led by Lars Frederiksen , the second guitarist in the group Rancid .

Like The Transplants , The Bastards are a side project of Rancid. The four-piece band around Lars Frederiksen has so far released two albums on the music market, which were distributed via Hellcat Records .

On her first, self-titled album, there are several cover songs in addition to her own compositions, including To have and to have not by Billy Bragg , Leaving Here by Holland-Dozier-Holland and Tomorrow belongs to me from the film Cabaret (also interpreted by the British Nazi Punk band Skrewdriver ) (the text of the latter was changed, and the song was not listed as a cover version in the CD booklet. The piece on the LFATB disc is called Campbell CA ).

Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards is a band that was heavily influenced by the early punk bands .
