Lars Funke (born January 28, 1972 in Erfurt ) is a former German speed skater .

Life

The spark running for ESC Erfurt set a new junior world record over 100 meters with 10.05 seconds on November 24, 1990. Four years later he became German champion in the sprint four-way fight. At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , he started in the 500 and 1000 meter races , where he finished 28th both times.
