The Larsen Point is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . As the eastern branch of the Lewin Peninsula, it marks the western boundary of the entrance to Cumberland Bay .
It is named after the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur and Antarctic explorer Carl Anton Larsen (1860-1924), who mapped the headland during his Antarctic voyage with the Jason (1892-1894).
